Adopt-A-Highway

Adopt-A-Highway is a great beautification program for Lorain County, designed to keep our roads and ditches litter free.

This is an opportunity for businesses, civic groups, government agency's along with churches of all denominations to participate in this program with one common goal: To keep Lorain County Litter Free.

An organization simply has to contact the Lorain County Engineers Department and ask to speak with the Safety Officer, for more information. You organization will be sent an application via mail, or you can print one out from this website. It will contain all additional requirements and information to participate. This program will give your organization recognition by means of an Adopt-A-Highway roadside sign with your organization, club or business name in large print showing the section of road you chose to keep litter free. Your name will also appear on the Lorain County Engineers website. There will be absolutely no cost to your business/organization for participating or for the advertising.

The Adopt-A-Highway forms are in PDF format. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, click here to download it for free.
